Pro Tips
- • Longer steep = stronger concentrate
- • Dilute concentrate 1:1 with water or milk
- • Store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks
- • Try adding a cinnamon stick during brewing
Step-by-Step Instructions
Grind Your Coffee
Grind 100g of coffee to a coarse consistency, like raw sugar. Extra coarse prevents over-extraction during the long steep.
Step 1 Image
Combine Coffee and Water
Add the ground coffee to your jar or cold brew maker. Pour 800g of cold, filtered water over the grounds.
Step 2 Image
Stir to Saturate
Stir gently to ensure all grounds are fully saturated. No dry clumps should remain. Cover the container.
Step 3 Image
Steep in Refrigerator
Place in the refrigerator and let steep for 12-24 hours. Longer steeping creates stronger concentrate.
Step 4 Image
Strain Twice
First, strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove large grounds. Then filter through cheesecloth or paper for clarity.

Store and Serve
Store concentrate in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Dilute 1:1 with water or milk when serving.
